For those who have not yet read the first part, this summary may not give you all the clarity you hope for. I therefore highly recommend you read part one first: “All this talk about Lucifer, Satan, and Evil”

Distortion of Self.

Lucifer seduces to eat fruit from “The Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil”. Unfortunately, there is no wisdom or understanding necessary to judge. On top of that, we connect and identify with what we judge and are unfree because of it. We get trapped in ego. Pride, vanity, and fanatic behavior are some of the more visible consequences.

“Pride is the excessive belief in one’s own abilities, that interferes with the individual’s recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.”

Negation of Self.

Satan is also called ‘The Opposer’. In his world, God does not exist and therefore Self does not exist. In this particular distortion of Self, we are intelligent apes. We are nothing more than the body, the mind and the ego living a short chemically induced hallucination we call life. Therefore, the end justifies the means and morals are nonsense. Sociopathic and Psychopathic traits are seen in the negation of Self, but they are based on unconscious fears.

Destruction/Annihilation of Self.

Self is destroyed when The Beast awakens. In the world of ‘The Anti-Christ’, every intelligent ape ‘becomes’ (identifies fully with) its own opinion, which  eventually leads to a war of everyone against everyone. There are  no prisoners, only horror, and all ‘humanity’ is annihilated. In other words ‘Self-destruction’, because it’s a choice, which means there is also an alternative.

The alternative

Jesus Christ said it like this: ‘The truth will make you free’.
Free for what?

Instead of destortion, he offers truth about Self.
Instead of negation, he offers freedom of Self and for others.
Instead of destruction/annihilation, he offers unconditional universal love.

Distortion of Self makes Negation of Self possible and that will eventually lead to the destruction of Self. Without Self there is only instinct and ego. It’s a direction that becomes more narrow as you go farther down the road, while the alternative direction opens up as you progress on your journey. Truth about Self leads to freedom of Self. Freedom of Self means you are no longer influenced by your ego and the ego of others, which will offer them more (opportunity for) freedom as well. Freedom of Self makes unconditional universal love possible.

You could also describe it as going either downwards or upwards but in the shape of a funnel. After all, the road downwards feels like an easier road. We kind of get sucked into it because it’s more seductive and easier. However, we can also feel that it’s not good for us, as it leads to more conflict with our surroundings. We get sucked in and feel trapped when the space around us gets smaller as we get deeper into the funnel.

There is still time

Even though humanity has been sucked into this funnel quite a bit, there is still time to get out and find your own resurrection in life. We are on an important crossroads, though, but I assure you that the alternative road is probably easier than you think and it will make your life better and easier. Many religious practices have made our lives and world-view more narrow, heavy, difficult and rigid, when in fact it’s more of an opening up that makes life lighter and more joyful, like a flower that starts to bloom. Some churches and sects make it look like a terrible struggle in that we have to fight evil and withstand its seduction, but in reality, it feels much more like waking up.

What do we need to wake up from? Our identification with ego. Ego is our false sense of self, false self-image that is plagued and overgrown with its very own personal ‘Tree of Good and Evil’, which I call your ’Tree of Beliefs’. in “You can be the Guru!” I explain the process that helps you rediscover your true Self and thereafter trim your personal ‘Tree of Beliefs’ by letting go of the identifications the keep you from finding and recognizing truth in yourself and the world.
